So as most of you already know, I recently partnered with Coffe-mate and Target on a once in a lifetime opportunity. Here is a short blog about that partnership and what makes each bottle I designed unique. Seen above are the final designs of my two bottles. When Coffee Mate reached out to me a few months ago about designing a summer themed bottle, I was hooked. I had so many ideas about how I wanted to my bottle to look, what it would say, and the photos I would use for it.
French Vanilla: For this design, I wanted it to have that mid summer day feel. The blue bottle color reminds me of the ocean and the sky. The photo on the front was a picture I took of my paddle board laying on the beach at McWay Falls in Big Sur, CA. On that back, you will find text about my inspiration to always be surrounded by water during summer. From surfing to paddle boarding, to photography. I also included three photos of what my classic summer day would look like.
Hazelnut: For this design, I wanted it to have that sunrise or sunset feel. I felt this would go well with the orange color of the bottle. The photo I chose for the front was a picture I took at Sunset Beach in Hawaii. One of my favorite places in the world. You can see my paddle board, swim fins and a palm tree resting on the beach. On the back, you will find text about how much water means to me and we have so much to give back to the ocean. I also explain how Coffee Mate is such a big part of my day. There are three photos of one of my classic relaxing summer days in the tropics.
You can find my bottles at select Target retailers near you.
(Limited Edition so don't wait!)
Here is a quick tip on photographing water: When I shoot photos of the ocean I really have to focus. Water is always moving, you have to time it perfectly to get that perfect shot. Thats why I shoot in burst mode to make sure I don’t miss that split second moment. Because if you miss it, it will never look exactly the same again. Thats why I love shooting the water. It’s a never ending challenge.
As always, thank you for the continued support.
